About Auctions

Why Auctions?

The auction method of selling is one of the oldest methods of selling known. Wall St. is only an auction.

Auctioneers have the title of Colonel because at the end of the Civil War, President Lincoln ordered the disposal of surplus equipment of the War Department. The Army officers had to have the rank of Colonel or above.

The auction method of selling assures that each item, or group of items will reach the highest price available that day when it is sold.

When the Auctioneer steps up to the item, either big or small, 100% of his attention and effort is directed towards that item.

A professionally conducted auction means the difference between an extended waiting period for a sale or quick conversion of property to cash.

Real Estate Auctions

Why sell Real Estate at auction- Because It Works!!

You will be able to:
Get immediate action and commitment on your terms
Direct marketing on your property
Sell in a competitive environment at the day and time of your choosing
Unlimited upward potential- the only positive method of selling

No one can be expected to be an expert in every property, or category of properties that we as auctioneers come in contact with.

In order to offer professional guidance that is of value to our sellers, we maintain a cadre of professionals to call upon in many varied situations. We will arrange for one or our professional Realtor/Auctioneers to meet with you for a in depth consultation.

Estate Auctions

From time to time it becomes necessary to liquidate personal and real property, either because of the passing of relatives, relocation, or other changing circumstances.
A professionally conducted auction means the difference between an extended waiting period for a sale or quick conversion of property to cash. Some people might think that all it takes is a fast talking Auctioneer. That’s an important part of it, but just a small part. We work for, and only for the seller with their best interest in mind.

Advertising and marketing is a very important part of the pre-auction process. It should not be a hit or miss effort. The computerized auction system that we use allows us to review all of the zip codes of registered buyers for a particular sale as to number of buyers and amount spent. We use this tool to make sure that our advertising is both effective and efficient. This also allows us to provide accurate auction day accounting.

We will also provide:

  • Preparation and placing of all advertising
  • Full auction set-up
  • Contract with concessionaires
  • Relocation services available if necessary
